Consultation on New Melton Interchange

East Riding Council has launched a preliminary consultation about the provision of a transport interchange at Melton, immediately to the south of the Amazon warehouse currently under construction.

ERYC, working with partners including Network Rail, National Highways, and Wykeland Group, have developed plans for a new transport interchange at Melton, situated between Brough and Ferriby stations. This consultation will seek to establish if the principle of a new transport interchange is supported at this location. The views of the local and regional population and businesses and the existing users of Brough and Ferriby Station need to be gathered and understood as this will feed into further timetable analysis and business case development. Further consultation will be carried out as plans are progressed.
