Proposed Works to A63
Published: 28 September 2022
National Highways have provide an overview of the maintenance and improvement work planned for the A63 for the rest of 2022 and 2023.
Attached is a leaflet which provides information about our plans. Nearer the time, we will write to residents and local businesses to provide them with advance notice of each scheme as they are planned.
Some of the work we will carry out will cause disruption to customers and noise for residents and will make every effort to keep this to a minimum; where we can safely do so, we will work under lane closures or overnight to keep delays to a minimum.
You can keep up to date with work planned for the A63 here https://nationalhighways.co.uk/our-roads/yorkshire-and-north-east/a63-improvements/ where you can sign up for email updates on the page. You can also follow us on Facebook National Highways Yorkshire or on Twitter @HighwaysYorks
Please note that this work is separate to our major project work at Castle Street in Hull which you can find more details on here https://nationalhighways.co.uk/our-roads/yorkshire-and-north-east/a63-castle-street/ and the ongoing repairs on Ouse Bridge, on the M62 https://nationalhighways.co.uk/our-roads/yorkshire-and-north-east/m62-ouse-bridge/
