Transwaste Planning Application

Published: 05 July 2019

Transwaste have again submitted a planning application to extend their operating hours to 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Despite an application for 24 hour operation at the Transwaste site being REFUSED by the Planning Committee at ERYC in March 2019, in a large part thanks to all of your objections to the plans, a further application has been submitted. The details of the Planning Application are:-

REFERENCE NUMBER : 19/02111/CM   :  Variation of Condition 26 (opening hours of the site for operations sales and deliveries) of planning permission 05/06302/STPLF (Construction of a waste transfer facility including new office, stores, waste sorting buildings, hardstanding areas and planted bund) to allow 24 hour operation of waste transfer station (Resubmission of 18/02749/CM).

Your Parish Council are asking for your help to continue fighting this proposal.  We therefore urge you to comment on this new application, as your input really does make a difference, you can do this in 3 ways:-

Your comment could be as simple as ‘I object to the potential noise at night resulting from this application’.

The Planning Committee of the Parish Council discussed this application at their meeting on Monday 22nd July 2019 and strongly objected to the application.  We have requested that the final decision is taken by the East Riding of Yorkshire Council Strategic Planning Committee.  Please continue to submit your comments and we will update this site when we have a date for when this application will be heard.
